Student - Gender, Sexuality and Queerness Course, Summer@Brown, Brown University

July 2022

During the Gender, Sexuality, and Queerness course at Brown University, I had the privilege of engaging in one-on-one debates and discussions with Professor Yifeng Kai. We explored complex topics such as the hierarchy of sex, analyzed the documentary “Paris is Burning,” and examined the roles of sex workers. My research paper focused on the impact of colonization on sexuality in India, a topic that allowed me to explore the deep historical and sociopolitical influences on contemporary sexual norms. My efforts were recognized as I secured the highest evaluation score of 98%, earning the title of the best student in my batch. This course not only deepened my understanding of gender and sexuality studies but also honed my analytical and critical thinking skills through rigorous academic discourse.

Student - Experimental Psychology Course, Oxford Royale Institution, Online

June 2021

In the Experimental Psychology course at Oxford Royale Institution, I explored the rich history of psychology and studied foundational concepts such as conditioning, functionalism, and behaviorism. I delivered an in-depth presentation on the Monster Study, critically analyzing unethical psychological practices like deception and lack of informed consent. Additionally, I authored a research paper on Anna Freud, focusing on her contributions to child psychology. My dedication and academic performance were reflected in my top score of 98% in a competitive student pool of six. This course provided me with a comprehensive understanding of experimental psychology and sharpened my ability to scrutinize ethical considerations in psychological research, enhancing my overall grasp of the field.
